Office Fitout, Thame
|
Having outgrown their existing offices our clients took on three floors of a neighbouring building. The interior was dated and needed repartitioning to suit the more open plan aspirations.
The ground floor was to provide open plan desk space for 30 of the I.T. team as well as a kitchen and break out space for the whole company. A bench testing room, quiet working room and sub-divisible conference/ meeting room are accessed from the main space, clearly visible but acoustically separated for privacy by full height glazed partitions. A sliding-folding full height glass partition allows the kitchen area to be opened up into the main working space for complete flexibility and to allow one large space for the whole company to gather together when needed. New lighting throughout works well with the simple but effective internal decoration scheme, with its four bold feature colours for a contemporary look. The second floor with an existing roof lantern bringing in plenty of natural light and sloping ceilings in the roof space has become a break-out lounge for staff to unwind and socialise together. Brightly coloured sofas are a visual focal point against the white walls. |
